Perfect Pulled Pork – Slow Roasted, Seasoned & Sa-vor-y!!!

spicy-pulled-pork-20While scouring the net for a new pulled pork recipe, I stumbled upon a blog called Kevin & Amanda that had a pulled pork recipe that looked promising.  This pulled pork uses the standard pork shoulder, marinated, rubbed and slow cooked to a temperature of 200 degrees before being pulled apart into what the claim is “SO yummy and flavorful and tender, it just melts in your mouth”.

The list thorough directions on how to make the pulled pork and I don’t want to steal anything from them, so I am encouraging you to check out the page.  I am going to list the dry rub and brine solution ingredients below so you can make sure you have what you need other than the pork shoulder to make this a reality.

Dry Rub

  • 1 tbsp ground cumin
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tbsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp ground pepper
  • 1 tbsp paprika
